The Story so far

I have to be brief, but the full details will be put here when the case is over....
Everything I put on here can and will be backed up with evidence I will hyperlink some of it later....

I purchased two Mainecoon cats from Sonya cost for both was £800.00 Sonya was apparently very sick and was giving up breeding, my own wonderful Mainecoon boy jet was going out of his mind because of his lack of Females I have two but neither was he interested in at the time ( since he has mated with one of them)

I had arranged with Sonya and another FELLOW breeder and client Denise to take and keep the cats for me while they had their 3 week quarantine. Denise however is not a Mainecoon breeder, and I really didnt know this Sonya.... and Sonya wanted them out by the 31st December 2009 which given the date that was not good for me... as I was hoping to come over on or around the 3/4 January 2010

Another person a client (I design website for a hobby) who also "breed" Mainecoons had purchased a Dutch bred cat, and so an arrangement was initially made that I pick up the DUTCH boy ( EMAIL PROOF) and keep him bring him over to the UK and pick up my girls, No money to be exchanged for this service, and at the end of the day I would be the one paying, it 2 and a half hours to Rotterdam to pick up the cat and back... and a further 1,000 miles drive plus ferry’s to take the boy to the Uk and bring mine back.... Seemed a good deal for me ...

Now I transferred 600 euros via PAYPAL to Suzanne Zech, of Zecoona Maine Coons, which came to £507.00 and Mrs Zech’s friend Mrs Christine Smith" paid £200.00 she owed me to Mrs Zech as Mrs Zech had no funds to cover the waiting time for my funds to be cleared my Dutch bank account to PAYPAL...

The cost of the vaccination and passport for rabies etc was £187.53, this I offered to pay direct to Mrs Zech’s Vet in advance on my VISA card, but she wouldn’t not let me... (I will go in to why about this after the case has been heard) so money outstanding was rounded up to cover petrol cost for Mrs Zech to £300.00... I owed!!! NEVER DISPUTED... EVER I also agreed to pay this amount for Mrs Zech to the Dutch breeder in Euro when we met in Holland “YES the arrangement had changed" and so as far as I was concerned that was that!! I became very concerned when Mrs Christine Smith" copied me in to an email regarding Mrs Zech which was horrendous to say the least regarding MRS Zech’s breeding practice.... and the issue she had, I became much more alarmed when Mrs Zech herself told me she had had big problems with Diarrhea, in her cattery and that she was selling kittens out before the age of 12 weeks, I did not want this kind of issues coming back and hurting my cattery… plus she informed me quite casually that the two cats I had purchased she had put in with her own girls, and not as she had promised in quarantine in a small back bedroom…. Had she not the room I would never have let my cats go there, why would I? I had offers of free accommodation else where!!

Mrs Zech by her own admission also administered Antibiotics she had purchased from the internet to my girl, in her own words “ to stop them giving something to my girls and them to yours” When questioned about it she claims she gave them amoxicillin… but this is not an antibiotic that can cover bacteria diseases that cause say diarrhea, herpes, Chlamydia… BUT why would anyone who had lost 6 adults cats younger that 4 years take the risk… well You have to ask yourself that question and think long and hard about it….???????


Long story short I made an arrangement to get my cats.

The First pick was By Mrs Smith, for the 2nd of January 2009 this was cancelled due Mrs Zech claiming she was going out… However I have an email that’s states the opposite…

Second Pick up By Mrs Smith 4th of January 2010 This was cancelled due to bad snow

On the 8TH of January, I also offered an extra £150.00 to MRS ZECH, for looking after my cats for me… so that was a total of £450.00 I was prepared to pay her….

Third pick up Denise, 9th of JANUARY, Cancelled in MRS Zech counterclaim because of Bad weather, IN FACT.. Denise said the weather was fine she had contacted Mrs Zech and was happy to come all the way to her door or meet within walking distance… this was agreed Mrs Zech words so long as I get my £300.. you get the cats.

This was cancelled on the evening of the 8 th of JANUARY….


On the 9th of JANUARY 2010 I received an email from MRS ZECH now wanted MONEY….BOARDING MONEY…. At £16.00 per day for 4 weeks….. the cats to this date had only lived there for 18 days…..??? PLUS THE MONEY I OWED £300.. NO MENTION OF THE £200…( this will keep cropping up) TOTAL SHE WAS CLAIMING £899.00


A further pick up was offered by Denise for the 16th of JANUARY… and this was never taken up….

I informed MRS ZECH by registered post ( RETURNED REFUSED TO SIGN) and email that I would take legal action against her if my cats where not returned and indeed I stared the procedure both with Trading standards and also with the courts in Somerset the home town of MRS ZECH….

I received a letter from Mrs Zech solicitor on the 11 of JANUARY 2010 sent to the FAX OF Mrs Christine Smith".. sent to me via email….. stating well lies… BUT… THE MOST IMPORTANT PART IN THIS IS NO MENTION… of the £200.00 she is claiming later…. And according to her solicitors letter dated the 21st of JANUARY when I eventually after several times asking got my answer… this money had already been returned… to… Mrs Christine Smith"..!!!!! ON THE 17TH of DECEMBER 2009 and Mrs Christine Smith" SIGNED FOR IT……..YET…..neither one of them told me??????????????????????????????????????????????????? or mentioned it to the solicitor..???????????????????????????????????????????? only much much later in an attempt to get more money out of me… NOW I CALL this Theft and FRAUD… and this, I will put right in court!!!!!!!!


On the 14th of January I received another solicitors letter from MES ZECH THIS TIME THE AMOUNT was for £757.00 and the boarding cost now where £12.00 per day.. ( like she was doing me a favour) and the dates again far in to the future plus impossible to deal with… plus also she has added a bit, and that was that I contact all outside agency’s I had contacted and tell them I was retracting my statement…

Now I have contacted the Environmental health because I wanted to be sure as I could not gain access to my cats, that they where one there and two okay…. ( SO CANT RETRACT)

And two the GCCF because I already had a suspicion she was trying to keep my cats for her own use( SO CANT RETRACT)


I OFFERED to pay all of the money but reserved my right to take legal action against MRS ZECH…. She refused…

HENCE my taking her to court…….
